Introduction

Musictool (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share personal information when you use Musictool (the “Service”), and the rights you have.

Please read this policy before using the Service. Using the Service means you have read and agree to it. We may update this policy; material changes will be announced by email or in-product notice. Use of the Service is also governed by the Terms of Service.

2.1 Information you provide

  • Account information: name and email from Google sign-in. We do not store a password.
  • Payment information: transaction amount and payment status. We do not store full card numbers — card data is processed by the payment processor (see Section 5).
  • Communications: emails, tickets, and feedback you send to support.
  • Optional uploads: files you choose to store via our cloud-upload feature, if you use it.

2.2 Information we collect automatically

  • Device and network: IP address, device type, operating system, browser, time zone.
  • Usage: pages viewed, features used, action logs, session length.
  • Log data: request time, error logs, performance data.
  • Audio you analyze in BPM & Key, speed/pitch, and similar tools is processed in your browser and is not uploaded to our servers unless you explicitly use a cloud-upload feature.

2.3 Third-party sign-in. When you sign in with Google, we receive the basic profile information you authorize (typically name and email).

We may aggregate or de-identify data for statistics. That data cannot reasonably identify you.

Analytics tools: Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. You can adjust preferences in your browser settings. We do not use marketing pixels.

5. Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information, including “sale” as defined under laws such as the CCPA. We share information only in these cases:

  • Service providers: cloud hosting, payment, email, and analytics vendors under confidentiality obligations. Payment card data is handled exclusively by our PCI-DSS compliant processor (Waffo Pancake) and is not stored on our servers.
  • Legal and regulatory requests: when required by law, court order, or a competent authority.
  • Business transactions: in a merger or acquisition, with prior notice and continuing protection duties.
  • With your consent: for other purposes only after your explicit prior consent.

6. Security

  • Transport encryption: TLS / HTTPS.
  • Storage: sensitive credentials are hashed or encrypted. We do not store account passwords (Google sign-in).
  • Access control: least privilege; staff confidentiality.
  • Periodic security review and vulnerability scanning.

If a security incident affects your rights, we will notify you and relevant regulators within 72 hours of becoming aware of it, as required by law. Keep your account credentials confidential.

9. Marketing and Opt-out

With your consent, we may send product-update messages. You can opt out via the unsubscribe link, account settings, or support@musictool.tools. Opting out does not affect necessary notices such as billing and security alerts.

10. International Transfers

Our servers and vendors may be located in the United States (application hosting), Singapore (database), and on Cloudflare’s global network. When we transfer data across borders, we use:

  • Data-processing agreements that incorporate the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) where applicable.
  • Transfers only to recipients that provide an essentially equivalent level of protection.

11. Children

The Service is for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

12. Third-party Links and Services

The Service may contain links to or integrations with third-party services (including Google sign-in, Google AI models, Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, and Waffo Pancake checkout). This policy applies only to information we collect directly. We are not responsible for third-party practices; review their policies before use.

13. Changes to This Policy

For material changes, we will give at least 15 days’ notice by site announcement or your registered email, and update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use after the effective date means acceptance.
